Obituary of L. Cynthia Todaro

L. Cynthia Todaro, 72, of Fairway Pointe, Lakewood, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at UPMC Hamot in Erie. She was the widow of Richard Todaro whom she married September 25, 1965 and who passed away in 1997. Cindy was born in Jamestown on August 9, 1947, a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Martha Mihalko Mason, and was a 1965 graduate of Jamestown High School. She had been employed for many years as manager of the former Herbert's Shoes in Jamestown and retired in 2017 as purchasing agent for The Resource Center. Besides spending time with her children and grandchildren, Cindy loved to travel, especially to Hilton Head Island. Following retirement, she moved to Fairway Pointe where she was blessed to find a wonderful group of friends. They enjoyed playing cards together, sharing meals and fun outings. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Surviving are three children: Richard C. Todaro of Concord, NC, Anita J. (Scott) Ventura of Gibsonia, PA and Christopher J. (Crystal Barnard) of Bluffton, SC; three grandchildren: Kayla A. Ventura, Scott A. Ventura, Jr. and Olivia A. Todaro; a brother, Joseph H. (Vicki) Mason and sister, Deborah M. (Charles) DeAngelo; and many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
