A lifelong area resident, she was born November 7, 1927, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Oscar and Isabelle Johnson Anderson.

An animal lover, both great and small, she was known for feeding and raising many stray cats. She and her husband spent many enjoyable summers in the RVat Tom's Point and Hidden Valley Campground. More than anything she will be remembered by all for her unconditional love and kindness.
