Obituary of Terry W. Zofchak

Terry W. Zofchak, 57, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully Sunday June 14, 2020 in his home after a brief illness while surrounded by his family. An area resident for over 30 years, he was born December 29, 1962 in Indiana, PA the son of Thomas Zofchak and Eleanor Adair Zofchak. Terry was a graduate of Homer Central High School in Homer City, PA. For many years, he was employed by Fancher Chair Co. in Jamestown. In his free time, he loved fishing. Surviving besides his father Thomas (Sue) Zofchak of Kennedy, NY and his mother Eleanor Zofchak of Lucernemines, PA is his wife of 34 years, Dawn Sloat Zofchak whom he married March 21, 1986 in Cuba, NY; a daughter, Tamara M. Zofchak of Kennedy; a step son, Christopher Hibbard of Jamestown; two granddaughters, Ida Lewis of Brocton and Hope Thompson of Jamestown; three sisters, Thomasen Bennett of Lucernemines, PA, Michele Zofchak of Florida, and Stacie Morretti of Jamestown; two nephews, Jacob and Ian Bennett both of Lucernemines, PA. He was preceded in death by a step daughter, Tiffany Lewis. There will be no funeral service or visitation observed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
