Sending heartfelt condolences to the Strudwick Family. I knew "Mrs. Strudwick" when I was a young boy in Elementary School at R.R. Rogers. She was loved by my classmates and me as a kindhearted mentor and positive influence on our young lives. Together with Mrs. Loverme, Mrs. Strudwick kept us in line, but always respectfully and wanting to bring out the best in us. I will always remember her and always appreciate the good times we had in school between 1991 and 1995. I regret that I wasn't able to better keep in touch with her as I grew older. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
With deep sympathy,
John I. LaMancuso

To the Strudwick family and friends, I am so very sorry for your loss of this memorable women. My name is Shelly Pacheco, I was one of the numerous children that Mrs. Strudwick touched and molded. I was one of the lucky ones who attended her after school program at Samuel S. G. Love elementary school that she started for young girls.
You see, this touches me even stronger because in the past few months I was thinking of her and was planning to reach out to locate her to tell her thank you, I sure hope she hears me now ! My family went to school with Tyrone and Laura. I recall that Mrs. Strudwick was the first to take me to the Chautauqua Mall when it opened. She instilled that we all be proud young ladies and hold our head high. I also recall that she was just so very kind and made it easy to be with her and talk to her. All of this I remember from, I believe, 1972. So you see, this lovely lady has touched the lives of many, spanning decades. Thank You Mrs. Strudwick, you were an angel on earth and now you really have your wings. God Bless.
With Sincerity and heartfelt condolences,
The Pacheco Family, Las Vegas, NV

Sending my deepest heartfelt condolences to the family. Mary will always be family to my daughter Da'Asia and I. I always loved seeing her and talking with her at family functions. She was a inspiration to my daughter and myself. I enjoyed talking to her and seeing the light that shined in her face. She was always concerned of my daughters education, and even wanted me to let her know when she graduated college. But as we know she got sick and I couldn't do that in person. So I'm letting you know now Mary, she did graduate. Thanks for being a caring person to her as well as myself. We will truly miss you, and even though you won't be at the family functions in person, I know you will be in spirit. Even though I won't be able to send you xmas cards any more, I will visit you at your final resting place as much as possible. There is another angel in the skies watching over us now. God bless you and thanks for always being the loving caring person I know you were. Give my sister many hugs and kisses from us down here. We will see you again but not to soon. It will be a sad day today, but we know that you are not in pain any more. Luv ya and see ya. Another angel in the skies to help guide us through life. Always loved by Jennifer Pacheco and Da'Asia Piscitelli.

Miss Mary, Working with you at Tops for those many years made it easier to come to work! You always greeted me with a smile and a hug~ You never had a cross word to say about anyone...even though some of the customers deserved it!
Now you can rest in a time of unrest in this country. Please know we all loved you and are so happy with the short time we got to spend with you.
You will always be "Miss" Mary to me because that is the respect you deserved

I am heartbroken over the news of Mary’s passing. She was the most beautiful friend both inside and out. We had many great times and great conversations over the years. She was the kindest person that I know. My heart is heavy, but I know Mary’s faith has led her right next to God. She will be one powerful angel above. My condolences to the family. All our love, Steve and Anne Sischo

Rest in Heaven Mama Mary. Mary has been in my life since I can remember. She was always like a mother to me and actually for 8 years she was my mother in law. Her love for me was always unconditional. I have so many good memories of Mama Mary and will cherish them forever. You will be missed at our family gathers, as you were always there as part of our family. And I will always be grateful for your love and care for my mom, your best friend/sisterfriend! You will be missed but forever loved!! Always in my heart...Yolanda
