Dear Grace & family,
My sincere condolences to you and your family. It was good to know she had a caring daughter nearby.
I got to know Carrie when I worked doing publicity for St. James Church. I recall her being very active there, always helping out, as her wonderful obituary describes. She must have had a good sense of humor too. I recall a very tall man working in the kitchen with her asking her to stand next to him for a picture. I also remember my taking a picture of her next to the very tall bread mixer, and she put her hands in the dough to punch it down . With Carrie being so small, it was like she was being swallowed up by the dough. It was so cute.
