Obituary of James T. Jenkins

James T. "Tim" Jenkins, 73, of Clymer, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020 unexpectedly at home. He was born on Dec. 18, 1946 in McKeesport, PA, a son of the late George W. Jenkins and Mary (Neal) Jenkins Chamets. Tim was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Jefferson Hills, PA and the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC). Tim was a proud veteran of the US Marines serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Clymer United Methodist Church, the Elmer C. Carrier American Legion Post 365, the VFW Corry Post 264, and the North Hills Golf Course. Tim enjoyed fishing and carpentry and was an avid golfer. Tim is survived by his three children: James (Jodie) Jenkins, Jr., Kimberly (Rob) Orelski, Christopher Jenkins; eight grandchildren: Morgan, Mason, Emillie, Wyatt, Evin, Mya, Alexis, Ella Jane; four siblings: Lisa, Judy, Nancy, Rick; four step children: Vicki (Gail) Coan, Lawrence (Heidi) Dunnewold, Craig Dunnewold, Eric (Kristin) Dunnewold; nine step grandchildren: Jocelyn, Vanessa (Josh), Cody, Andrew, Kaley (Jesse), Caitlynn, Jacob, Chloe, Veronica; seven step greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda King-Jenkins, whom he married April 27, 2001 and who passed away on March 1, 2020; and siblings: Scott, Franny, and Margaret. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020 in Lawn Cemetery in Beaverdam, PA. Observing COVID-19 guidelines for social distancing, the family will receive friends on a "walk through" basis from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, 2020 in the Lind Funeral Home, Jamestown, NY. Masks are required. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local American Legion or VFW.
