Obituary of Gregory R. Hamilton

Gregory R. Hamilton, 60, of Jamestown, NY, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing. Greg was born January 23, 1960 in Erie, Pa., son of the late Robert F. and Neva Larson Hamilton. Greg attended Jamestown Public Schools and worked for the family business until the late 1990s. He also worked at Genco Machine until he became ill. Greg enjoyed hunting, boating, working on vehicles of all kinds and time with family and friends. He is survived by daughters, Amanda Hamilton, Meghan Bradish (Jeff) of Cleveland, OH; son Thomas Hamilton (Hunter) of Jamestown, NY; grandchildren, Presley & Lennon Hamilton and Eleanor Bradish; brother Scott W. Hamilton (Sheryl) of Greensboro, NC; sisters, Tara L. Schupp (Michael) of Erie, and Tanya M. Stewart (Lee) of Nashville, IL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, on January 18, 2001 and his mother, Neva, on September 30th of last year. Observing current COVID guidelines for social distancing, friends will be received on a walk-through basis from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 30 in the Lind Funeral Home, 805 West Third Street, Jamestown, NY. Masks are required at all times. A private family service will be held, led by the Rev. Adam Rohler. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing and the third floor staff for their compassion, love, and care for Greg during his years as a resident.
