Obituary of William J. Brudz

William J. Brudz, 73, of Jamestown, NY, passed away at 10:55 am Monday, December 7, 2020, in his home. He was born July 30, 1947 in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late John J. and Lucy E. Herko Brudz. Bill was a graduate of Bishop Ryan High School and attended Niagara University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany during his enlistment. Before his retirement, he had worked for the Jamestown YMCA for several years and was well liked by those who knew him. He will be remembered for his green thumb and for being an avid gardener and horticulturist and for his love of animals. Surviving are his siblings; Eugene Brudz of Buffalo, NY, Marylou (Gene) Rozycki of Depew, NY, Christine Clark of Buffalo, NY, Theresa (Daniel) Rees of Upland CA, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and David Brudz and his spouse, Leo E. Duliba. Services for William will be private. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd.
