Obituary of Angela L. Smith

Angela L. Smith, 94, of Memory Garden, formerly of 111 Elizabeth Street, Lakewood, died Wednesday December 9, 2020, in Corry Manor. She was born September 20, 1926, in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Joh and Isabelle D'Addario Lango. Following graduation from Buffalo General Hospital School of Nursing she was employed as a registered nurse at Buffalo State Hospital, retiring at age 58 as a night administrator for over 20 years. She was a member of Marvin Community House and a member and past president of the League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County. Surviving are two children Robert Smith of Lakewood and Isabelle McMahon of Jamestown; three granddaughters Courtney Rose McMahon, Stephanie Smith and Kira Gottlieb; four great grandchildren and a sister Terry Fern. Besides her parents she was preceded death by a sister Ada Ramsey. No funeral service or visitation will be observed.
