Obituary of Roberta M. Snyder

Roberta M. "Bert" Snyder, 74, of Donelson Rd., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at home. She was born on May 24, 1946 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Irene C. Pangborn Sweeney. Bert was a 1964 graduate of Southwestern High School. She was employed at International Ordnance Technologies, Inc. She was a "member" of the Busti Men's Association, the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, and the Sugar Grove Legion. She enjoyed reading and adored her grandchildren. Bert is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Snyder, Sr., whom she married Sept. 25, 1965; two sons Ronald (Tammy) Snyder, Jr. and Robert (Amy) Snyder; three grandchildren: Kayla, Cole, and Taylor Snyder; a sister Laura "Jeannie" (Ernie) Hartman; a nephew Corey Hartman; and a great nephew Dylan (Isabelle) Hartman and their children Easton and Arizona Hartman. A celebration of life will be held where the family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Busti Men's Association. The BMA will be observing COVID guidelines with social distancing and masks must be worn. Inurnment will be in Busti Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to everyone at hospice for their compassionate care, especially to Rebecca, Stephanie, Heidi, and Kristine Brombacher.
