Tony was a person who I only knew from the times I picked up a prescription! However, Tony was a very memorable individual; the first and only Pharmacist that I heard whistling while he worked!!! LOL
Tony always had a smile and would take time to explain meds and answer almost any question!
Although, I didn’t know him as a friend, he surely acted like one!!! Joe Hewson, Tony’s Customer

I am so sorry to hear of Tony’s passing and send my deepest sympathies. He holds a special place in my heart as the founder of Lakewood Area Jr Miss. I had the privilege of carrying on his legacy, and my life, along with so many young women’s lives who participated were forever changed. He served as a beautiful example to us all of how to define community and what goodness can come from giving one’s time and talents.

Condolences to the Barone family. Tony was a great guy, I got to see him daily at the Lakewood Drug Store on my UPS route. I serviced the Lakewood area from 1972 to 1989, he was one of the people that always made my day enjoyable. RIP Tony.

My Sincere Sympathy to Tony's Family. He became our druggist when we moved to Lakewood in 1987. We always enjoyed visiting with Tony and Bud when we were at Rite Aide. My husband and Tony had a lot in common Health Wise and often discussed their situations. Tony came to Bill's wake when he passed a couple years ago. I thought of him last week when I drove passed your home and wondered how he was doing. Lakewood has lost one of its biggest supporters and we have all lost a good friend. God Bless you all with His Peace. Donna Haenggi

Elaine, Lisa, Dana, Lori and all the rest of the family - I am so sorry. I have many memories of Tony (and you all, of course). After my dad died, and especially as my mom got older, Tony was a good neighbor to my mom and for that she was grateful, as were we all. May his memory be a blessing.

We are sincerely sorry for the loss of your father and my former boss at Lakewood Drugstore. Tony was a very caring, considerate and fun loving boss. I will never forget the fun times we had working together to help others! His sweet smile and happy go lucky personality put everyone at ease. He always made you feel welcomed and treated others with such kindness! Tony was a wonderful friend and he will be truly missed. Our sympathy goes with all of you as you mourn his passing. God only takes the best and he was one of them. Prayers and love, Jean LeRoy and Norma Jean Chrysler

Lori and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was such a wonderful man and so passionate about his job. I used to see him at Rite Aid where he was always happy and whistling away as he worked. He will be missed by so many people in the area.
