Obituary of Clifford C. Brevoort
Clifford C. Brevoort, 94, of 1268 Shadyside Road, died Sunday January 3, 2021, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
An area resident all of his life, he was born October 19, 1926, in Jamestown, a son of the late Ray and Edna Crandall Brevoort.
He was a 1944 graduate of Celoron High School followed by 2 years of service in the US Army during WWII.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by McFadden Ford as a mechanic for 35 years. Following retirement he was a driver for Shults Auto Group for 22 years.
He had been an active member of First Covenant Church since 1965, participating in many of the church's activities.
Surviving are his wife of 76 years Cleo Jackson Brevoort, whom he married December 31, 1944; two children Tom (Susan) Brevoort of Niceville, FL and Diane Schine of Ashville and two granddaughters Jamie Schine of Geneva, NY and Amy (Josh Miller) Schine of Ashville.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a step grandson Billy Arell; a brother Lowell Brevoort and a sister Doris Potter.
Due to the restrictions of the pandemic no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Covenant Church 520 Spring Street, Jamestown, NY 14701 or Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
