Obituary of Victor A. Blake

Victor Augustus Blake, known as Rocky, died Sunday January 10, 2021, in Buffalo, NY. He was born on the 16th of April 1957 in Spanishtown, Jamaica, the third child of Vincent Blake and Gloria Hines-Blake-Leeper. Rocky was a loving father and brother and will always be remembered as a skilled artist and cabinet maker with good morals and everlasting kindness. Surviving are sisters and brothers are Beverley Martin, Delores Tummings, Keith Blake, Pauline Blake, Samuel Blake, Grace Uylett, Audrey Blake-Mitchell, and Michelle Blake-Everly; a son, Orane Blake, and two grandchildren, Victoria and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Blake and mother, Gloria Hines-Blake-Leeper. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
