Brian will be remembered by our family as a kind man who always made time for others. He was a great neighbor to us, across the street, on Laurie Lane. He was always welcoming to our family and pets, and always able to make time to talk and make you feel special. We are so sad to hear of his passing, but take comfort that he is with his wife again.

To the family of Brian Abbott. I am expressing our condolences on behalf of Community Helping Hands. Brian worked down here at the Gateway Building with us and he was such a joy. He also attended our Christian Fellowship and shared of his love for his family and his former wife. Brian was always friendly and helpful to our clients, it was a privilege to have known and worked with him.

Mr. Abbott was simply the best ! He always treated me like part of the family. Whenever I saw him as the years went by he always wanted to know how the family was. I enjoyed our conversations very much. I will always remember him.

Brian and I met when we were 11 years old through the Boy Scouts in Mayville. We went to school together and became quick friends. We worked together at the Court House for many years. I have such fond memories of Brian. He was a great man whom I will dearly miss.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to Brian's family. Brian was always such a great guy and my husband John and I always enjoyed running into him and conversing. His wife Susie was a good friend of mine who I grew up with and went all through school with. You are all in my thoughts and prayers for strength during this difficult time. May all of your fond memories bring you peace, comfort and healing in time. God bless you all!
