Dr. Blakeslee was one of my Supervisors at KenTon, when I was hired as Program Supervisor at Hoover Elementary School. He was kind , caring , hardworking, very intelligent and knowledgeable. He cared deeply for our students, their families and for all of his teachers and administrators. He was always positive and complimented his staff often, making him a joy to work with. He was a role model of compassion and respect. He left a legacy of educational excellence in Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda Schools.
May the family be comforted and may his memory be blessed.

As an active PTA member at Washington School, I found Dr. Blakeslee great to work with. My husband and I felt he was a great Principal for our children's school and a leader in the field of education. He, Margaret, and his family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Charles being there for me when I was sick and how you guys took me in and loved me. Took me to Massachusetts to Dr.R. Charles prayers of Psalm 91 over me. My favorite memories are Charles and you both in the kitchen. Sharing a bowl ice cream to an orange with a strawberry on top. Or Charles with his hidden treats in his car ready to have when needed. The times of just love and the cute ways he loved on Margaret how they kept the love between each other alive and beautiful. Just thankful how he kissed me on my forehead in front of my dad representing a fathers love. The wonderful holidays we had together the great wisdom I learned from them both. Peace to you Charles. Margaret great hugs and my love. Words can’t even begin to say. All I know to say is I love you. How they made good memories for us and my family. Words can’t begin with the Thank you. Bless you both may the God of peace and comfort surround you and your family Steve & Jennifer Marsh

Dear Mrs. Blakeslee,
I remember Dr. Blakeslee as a kind, capable and efficient principal at Washington School in Kenmore. He was innovative and together we established the Pre-First curriculum and implemented the program to the benefit of many children. I remember parents being so thankful for this program that met the diverse needs of their children.
Please let your loving memories sustain you at this difficult time. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Shirley Spriegel
