Obituary of Clothilda Rosalie (Clo) Costa

Clothilda Rosalie (Clo) Piazza Costa, 83, of Lakewood, NY, passed away on February 22 in Dunkirk NY. Clo was born in Garfield, New Jersey to Dominic and Jennie Brancato Piazza on June 28, 1937. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1955. She then attended Carnegie Institute in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated as a medical laboratory technologist. Clo is survived by her daughter, Maria Costa of Dunedin, FL; brother William Piazza (Ruth), nephews Jeffrey Piazza (Evelyn), Timothy Piazza (Tammy); niece Kimberly Piazza Petri (Armand), along with several great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Costa and her parents. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the caring staff at Brookdale Assisted Living in Lakewood. A private burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A public funeral service will take place this summer.
