Obituary of Neil A. Frederick

Neil A. Frederick, 68, of Jamestown, NY, passed away at 1:30 am Thursday, March 4, 2021, in his home. A Jamestown area resident since 1988, he was born December 12, 1952 in Kansas City, MO, a son of the late Roy and Marie Miller Frederick. Neil was a graduate of the Shawnee Mission North High School in Overland Park Kansas and earned his bachelor's degree from the Kettering University in Flint, MI and his master's degree from Purdue University. Before his retirement in 2020, he was the Chief Financial Officer at Bush Industries in Jamestown for the past 32 years. He was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and a member of the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family traveling and boating on Chautauqua Lake and was an avid reader. His favorite time of year was trailing his boat to the 1,000 Islands for a two week vacation. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Nancy J. Milito Frederick whom he married July 16, 1977, a daughter; Jessica L. Frederick (Paul Johnson) of Sherman, NY, two sons, Christopher M. Frederick (Hiromi) of Nagoya, Japan, Nicholas R. Frederick of Renton., WA , one granddaughter; Sophie Frederick and a brother, Larry Frederick of Siloam Springs, AR. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 10, 2021, in St. Luke's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor of Holy Apostles Parish will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions visitation will not be observed. The mass will be live streamed on the St. Luke's Church facebook page, and will be posted on the St. Luke's you tube channel.
