Barry, so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. I rented an apartment at 63 Falconer Street in 1960 and 1961. My son Mike was born while we lived there and we had a little wading pool in the yard and I remember Mike and your daughter playing the pool. Wanted you to know I am thinking of you. To the Benson family,
I was sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. My mom often regaled me (and still does!) with stories and memories of when she and my dad were part of the Chautauqua Ave/Westwood Drive get-togethers. I too have fond memories of hanging out over there during elementary, middle and high school years, and through the time of confirmation with so many whom I still consider good friends. (That's Jamestown for you in all its glory, and how blessed we all are for it.) I thank you for being part of wonderful memories, and I most sincerely hope you hold ALL of your memories of your wife/mother/grandmother close to your heart, where she lives eternally now.
