Obituary of Theresa LoGuidice

Theresa Ann LoGuidice, 80, formerly of 8 Fairfield Ave. Jamestown, NY, passed away at 9:55 pm Thursday, March 18, 2021, in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. A lifelong area resident, she was born July 21, 1940 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Rosario J. "Ross" and Rose Marie Pappalardo Fiorella. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and the Doyle Beauty School in Buffalo, NY. Before her retirement years, she owned and operated the House of Curl Beauty Shop in her home for over 50 years. She was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish at St. John Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and many friends. She loved entertaining her family for Sunday dinners and enjoyed the many family vacations. She also cherished her many dinners and card games with her friends. She was a loyal Buffalo Bills fan and spent many hours painting with watercolors. Surviving are two daughters; Gina (Tom) Gazdak, Toni (Roger) Sigular, both of Jamestown, eight grandchildren; Corey (Dan) Brown, Jacob (Jordan) Sigular, Haley (Emily VanWey) Sigular, Jillian (Kurtis Walter) Gazdak, Hannah Gazdak, Devon Gazdak, Dylan Gazdak all of Jamestown, Anne Ernest of Almond, NY, five great grandchildren; Reese and Avery Brown, Hudson Sigular, Luke and Leia Ernest, several nieces and nephews including James Blomquist and his daughter Elise Blomquist. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony P. "Tony" LoGuidice whom she married August 29, 1959 and who died September 22, 2013 and a sister, Rosalie A. Blomquist who died December 30, 2020. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Cathy Smith will officiate. Entombment will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd. Jamestown, NY 14701 or to a charity of one's choice.
