Obituary of Thomas E. Fadale

Thomas E. Fadale, Sr., of 27 Falconer Street, died Saturday March 27, 2021, in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A lifelong Jamestown resident, he was born June 27, 1939, a son of the late Vincent and June Endersen Fadale. He was a 1957 graduate of Jamestown High School and later graduated from Jamestown Community College. Prior to his retirement he was a longtime employee of Weber Knapp Company working as a customer service manager. He was an active 33° member of the Masonic Lodge and several other Masonic organizations including Jamestown Shrine Club, Scottish Rite Consistory and Kharram Grotto. His other memberships include Viking Lodge, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and St. Luke's Episcopal Church. As an avid golfer he was a member of Maplehurst Country Club and golfed in leagues at South Hills Country Club and Cable Hollow Golf Course. Surviving are three children Kimberly (Hugh) Fadale Abernethy of Tenafly, NJ, Mary Beth (Luis Ortiz) Fadale of Albany, NY and Thomas (Brianne) Fadale, Jr., of Jamestown; five grandchildren Victoria Abernethy and Tessa, Marishka, Finnegan and Flynn Fadale and two brothers Richard Fadale of Solon, OH and William Fadale of Avon, OH. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister JoAnn Fadale Gleason. A walk-through visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Face coverings and social distancing are required. A private family service will be held following the visitation.
