Helen and I were first cousins, both of us born 1940. She is 4 months older than me. We spent a lot of time in Norwood at her parents because my mother and her mother were sisters. This is a beautiful picture of Helen. she will always be remembered even though we haven't seen each other for a long time because I lived in Hong Kong for years and now live in California. My mother, Alice was also an organist for years until she passed away. Glad to see she followed in my mother's footsteps. Love to the family , Marjorie Not sure I will see the letters below as I am blind in one eye now.and not sure where I am supposed to write the letters. YnBe6

Uncle Lee, Debbie, Danny, Darcy & Darren, I am so very, very sorry for your loss. I remember Aunt Helen always had a smile on her face. My best memory is from when her & my mother stayed at my house in the Washington DC area. My husband kept missing the turn on Dupont Circle. Aunt Helen was laughing hysterically in the back seat. To the Sperry Family, my deepest condolences for the loss of your dear Wife/Mother Helen. I cannot think about Lakewood UMC without seeing Mrs. Sperry. She always seemed to be there doing one thing or another. She graciously shared her musical talent, along with so many others with that community for so many years. Worship and social gatherings would not have been the same without her generosity. Debby, I am so glad you stopped me the other day and that we had a chance to catch up. What a blessing your care has been for your Mom and your Dad. That time is so precious for all of you. Please know that you all are in my prayers and I hope you will find some comfort in knowing that your beloved Wife/Mother has surely been raised with Jesus this past Easter. May she rest in peace and rise in Glory and may you be consoled in your grief by many happy memories of times spent together as a family. God bless each of you, Karen Anderson
