Shelley and Amy-
I am so sorry for your loss of your mother. She was an amazing lady.
I was her hospital roommate for whichever of you has a Nov. 11 birthday.
Your mother will be missed by so many people who knew and loved her.

Karen was one of those fierce Southwestern Girl Scout volunteers that as a young professional I could always count on when in need of a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and generous volunteers. She was always willing to give a little more when asked in both her time and her treasure. She will be missed .... my sincerest sympathies to her family and community of friends.

It is so sad to hear of Karen’s passing after such a courageous struggle. At the same time it brings back many happy childhood memories of family gatherings as we were growing up. It is comforting to recognize what a wonderful mark she has left on her community.

We are so sorry for your loss. Karen was a beautiful, kind person who our family was blessed to know. This Indian proverb makes me think of her:
“When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die the world cries and you rejoice”

Lots of wonderful memories of my cousin Karen. What a legacy she leaves behind. She has been in my prayers and has fought the fight and is now in God’s comforting embrace. My deepest sympathies to you, Shelley, Amy and her beloved grandchildren and to Linda and family. No sisters were ever closer. May she rest in eternal peace and may you find comfort in your memories. I regret the distance that separates us but will be with you in prayer on Friday. Love to all, Lauri
