My love for the out doors I have my uncle Jerry to thank for that. I was about 16 and he took me on my first camping excursion. We set up the tents and got them all ready for when it was time to say goodnight. Well the little ones went down and I stayed up with my uncle. The night was beautiful and there were so many stars I asked if I could sleep right there by the fire. I fell a sleep just looking at the stars oh and listening to the graduation party going on in the next camp site. When morning came there was a boy asking who I was. I was like who am I well who are you ? After all it. Was our camp site. I looked over and there was MY UNCLE JERRY laughing so hard. I asked him why he let this boy sleep here and he said he really didn't sleep and I guess I really didn't either. The said boy was just looking for a tiny piece of my blanket because he was so cold. My uncle said we both pulled the blanket from each other so many times he finally got the boy a blanket of his own. Oh my goodness we laughed for hours that day and I still don't know or remember the boys name.
I love you uncle Jerry and thanks for everything you've done for me. Like all the baby sitting jobs and the one where you truly saved me from the bad man. I'm so glad you taught me the importance of code words and for all the silly things you've done.
I want you to know I fish now too.
