Obituary of Douglas C. Miller

Douglas C. Miller, 51, of Jamestown, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie. Doug was born May 30, 1969 in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Gerald R. Miller and Roberta Gustafson Miller Nichols. Doug will be sadly missed and was loved by all. Surviving are Doug's soulmate of 22 years, Jane Kiendl; his sister, Renee (Merle) Wright and brothers, William, Gerald (Rosemary) and Steven Haley; and granddaughter, Haylie Sutton. Also surviving are stepchildren, Carrie (Chad) Retterer and Matthew and Andrew Kiendl; several step-grandchildren; nephew, Jonathan Scott; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his son, Isaac Sutton; brother, Alan Miller; sisters, Dee Miller and Karen Joyce; and his stepmother, Julie Ann Miller and stepfather, Michael Nichols. A private family memorial service will be held. Visitation will not be observed. Inurnment will be in Lake View Cemetery.
