I have very fond memories of Laura. Naomi and she were amazing teachers and fabulous people. Laura was such a breath of fresh air. She had a smile that would completely light up the room. One of my favorite memories of her is going with her to nursing homes where she would sing and dance for the residents. They Loved her so much. She was so animated and so much fun. She was a lovely person and friend, and she will be missed so much.

I did not know Laura well. We bumped into each other on a number of occasions. Out dancing at Shawbucks, at my cousins wedding. What I did get to know of her, was nothing but positive. She was a shining light to be certain. I am thankful to have met her.
My deepest condolences to her friends and family, those who knew her far better than I. You all were blessed, from what I could see.

The first time I met Laura was at Hills Department Store during their closeout sale. Here was this bubbly woman I'd never met before who was so friendly, as if I was someone she saw every single day. She was a special person who made people feel special. She seemed to consider everyone she met a friend. I wondered who this woman bounding with joy, confidence, and encouragement was. There was such enthusiasm in everything she did at every moment. Dance classes were so much fun! She shined with life! Now she is finally re-united with her parents, especially Naomi, so in a way this is a happy occasion, so why am I crying? No one who met this vibrant woman could ever forget her.

My heartfelt condolences to Laura's family, Jason and Ray. Laura was truly a beautiful soul. Over the past 20 years I took dance instruction from her. I may not have danced very well, but I always left with a smile on my face. I am forever grateful that I gave her a ticket to come see me dance in the Nutcracker, in 2019. She was love by everyone, and she will be sadly missed. I look forward to dancing with her again some day.

Dina and family... I am so sorry for your loss. Laura was my very first friend in kindergarten at Rogers School. I remember going to your house and Laura and I would play and dance around in the basement. Over the years whenever we would run into each other we would always reminisce about that. Laura was truly a wonderful person with a heart of gold. Even through her illness so was always so upbeat and positive and so full of energy. I can only imagine she’s now having a huge dance party in heaven. My sincere condolences to your family. Rest In Peace my sweet friend.
Love,
Sherrie Buttafarro Southwick

Our deepest sympathy to Jason & all of Laura's family & friends.
I remember seeing Laura & her mom at St. James church together for many years and watched Laura grow up there. My husband Paul & I were privileged to have taken ballroom dance from her, which brought so much fun into our lives. She was such a good teacher & corrected students' mistakes in the kindest way. Her passing is much too soon and such a loss for the whole community. It was good that there were big celebrations for the anniversary of Guys & Dolls studio and that everyone could show her how they appreciated and cared for her.
Peace & Love,
Linda Demler

Dina:
So sorry to learn of Laura's passing. I last saw her at my dad's funeral and we had a very nice, long chat. It was great to see her again and we shared a lot of good stories of your mom and dad.
She was very proud of her dance studio and couldn't stop smiling about how happy it made her. She was one of a kind and will be missed.
Cathy and I send you our deepest condolences.
Love,
Paul and Cathy Pinciaro

Laura was a ray of sunshine. You could not help by laugh and smile in her presence. She had this way of bringing out the child in you and giving you the courage to step out of your comfort zone. She was always so proud to call us cousins. Her father and my Grandfather were cousins. I was fortunate enough to have been taught tap, jazz and swing from her. She later taught my daughter Jocelyn, tap as well. We had nights out to see our favorite band, New Wave Nation. She always had words of wisdom, positivity and encouragement. Sad to know that she is no longer with us, but I really believe in my heart she is still smiling and is in heaven dancing with Naomi again. She would text me and check in with me to see how I was doing, and here she was battling cancer. I just wish I would have known so that I could have been as supportive as she was to me. I will not be able to attend the services as I live in SC now, but I will be home in July and will stop and see Laura and Naomi at the cemetery. Thanks for the laughs, fun and wisdom. Rest easy Cousin. I know she is dancing in the sky right now. "Naomi Forever, Laura Forever" "Dance On"
