Obituary of James A. Caccamise

James A. Caccamise, 68, of Hotchkiss Street in Jamestown, died June 9, 2021 in his home where he had resided for forty years. He was born October 21, 1952 in Jamestown, a son of the late Dr. James and Almarie (Pedersen) Caccamise. For the past thirty-five years he was employed as a long-haul truck driver, retiring in 2017 having seen every state across the U.S. He especially enjoyed spending vacations with his family in the Outer Banks and the mountains of Colorado. Jim is survived by his wife Pamela, whom he married December 22, 1973; his three sons and nine grandchildren: Jonathan, his wife Cathy, and children Jacob, Jordyn, and Jillian of Highland Ranch, Colorado; Adam, his wife Mia, and children Dominic, Natalie, Lennea, and Michael of North Tonawanda, NY; and Aaron, his wife Jonise, and children Alexander and Lauren of North Tonawanda; as well as his sister Susan Wazaney of Salamanca, his brothers Timothy and David Spitz of Jamestown, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A private family service will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made at the suggestion of the family to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W.
