Obituary of Jesse R. Campbell

Jesse R. "Beno" Campbell, 61, of Palm Rd. Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 24, 2021, in his home. An area resident for most of his life, he was born July 6,1959 in Bradford, PA, a son of the late Jesse and Janet Weaver Campbell. In previous years, he had worked for several area businesses including the former Crawford Furniture Company. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, cooking, and loved to ride his motorcycle. Surviving is his wife, Donna Booth Campbell, whom he married November 4, 1979, two children, Samuel R. Campbell, Michelle (Gary) Smith, eight grandchildren, Dakota Campbell, Mason Campbell, Samuel Campbell, II, Simon Campbell, Madison Campbell, Emily Campbell, Abigal Campbell, Andrea Campbell, a great grandson, Benjamin Campbell, who is due to arrive in July, his siblings, John Campbell, Sr, Brenda Wynn, Paul Campbell, Rick Pearson, and his nephew, John Campbell, Jr. who was like a son to him. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Benjamin A. Campbell and Jesse R. Campbell, a brother, Robert Pearson and a sister, Louise Price. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 -2:00 pm Monday, two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd.
