Obituary of David T. Baron

David Timothy Baron, 58, of 108 Bowen Street in Jamestown, passed away Saturday July 3, 2021 in his home. He was born November 7, 1962 in Jamestown, a son of the late Stanley and Betty Baron and was a graduate of the Jamestown High School, Class of 1982. Following high school, he joined the United States Air Force, serving 8 years as an aviation mechanic. David later returned to Jamestown and earned his Registered Nursing degree from Jamestown Community College. As an RN, he worked the remainder of his life as a nurse at various locations in the area including WCA Hospital and Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing. He will be remembered as a loving and caring person who found joy in helping others. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and listening to music. David is survived by his brother, John T. Baron; his sister, Lynda E. (Jeffrey) Childs; nephew and niece, Evan and Allison Childs; and his companion of many years, Marsha Confer and her sons Keanu, Justin, Cody and Ernie Confer. The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 10th in the Lind Funeral Home. A private family service will be held in Lake View Cemetery.
