I am a waitress at New Beginnings restaurant. We became friends there. Always a smile on his face and a lot of conversations. Tyler was a good companion to him. At times more than he thought he could handle but he enjoyed him tremendously. A to go container with one meatball for Tyler. I will miss you my friend. Rest in piece

Julie, I’m sorry to read about your father’s passing. He was a big influence for me during my early years as a graphic designer and taught me many tricks and tips. I think of him often. He was a mentor to me at Habiterra. We spent a lot of time in his office, me at the light table and him facing me at his drafting table. He could always tell when I needed to change blades by the sound they made against the glass of the table. It was uncanny. He loved your mother and you very much and often spoke of both of you. He was proud to be your father. I enjoyed lunches with him and bringing him donuts from time to time, usually when I was going to be late. I’m sorry I didn’t get to see him more often. He had a lot of great stories. Best to you. Nathan Arnone

Dear Family Members,
My wife Marty & I were sorry to read of David's passing. He was a standout working hard at Strider Field teaching the kids when our girls were in Marching Band. May his memory bring you peace, and may God be with you as you heal.

My husband (Daniel Hess passed March 2018) and I enjoyed seeing Dave at the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club over the past 25 years. We recently learned that Cindi Dietzen is related to you, Julie, and want you to know she is Daniel's second cousin. ( A small world). Dave had told us interesting things about his family. He had purchased the Orr Street property from my first cousin Charles Johnson who now resides in Florida. He had married Nancy Sandquist. Sending sincere sympathy to you at this time. We are on FB. Julie, I am sorry to hear that your dad passed away recently. My husband, Terry, & I certainly enjoyed visiting with him at Lakewood Rod n Gun. Sometimes if we went to the club on Sunday, we would sit with your dad while we enjoyed dinner. Chicken & biscuits. My husband would always joke around with your dad. I always thought it was so sweet that your dad would take a doggie bag for "Bentley" (his dog at the time).
