Obituary of Edward Glenn Sherman
Edward Glenn Sherman, 52, of 1925 East Main Street, Falconer, died unexpectedly Monday July 26, 2021, in his home.
He was born December 22, 1968, in Phoenixville, PA, a son of James Sherman and Virginia Lamoreaux Sherman Hill.
Ed was a gifted carpenter. He had built and renovated hundreds of structures throughout his career including buildings in Chautauqua Institution, the façade of businesses in Sherman and the Yorker Museum.
He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association, Eagles, Moose and American Legion Auxiliary.
He was a member of the band Level Seven in which he played guitar and sang.
Surviving are his mother of Jamestown; longtime companion Penny Bergman; two children Brianna Ross and Joshua Bolles both of Falconer, step sister Bonnie Lynn Clark of Bear lake, PA and step brother Timmy Lee Newark of Sinclairville and grandfather Alfred Lamoreaux.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Bertha Lamoreaux; a stepbrother William Newark and uncle Gerald Lamoreaux.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday August 5, 2021, in the Lind Funeral Home.
Visitation will not be observed.
