Nan, Jan and Ree I am so very sorry to learn of your beautiful Mother’s passing from this life onto her eternal home with our Lord and Savior and your Dad. I loved your Mother and your Father so very much. They were so instrumental in my life in so many ways. They played a huge role in my love of music, beginning with Choraliers starting in 2nd grade at First Covenant. Your Dad recruited me to play the cello in 4th grade while a Bush. This began my love for many genre of music, but, mostly hymns and classical music. Their love of the Lord also was also unwavering and that made an impact on me as well. Their faithfulness to our church was wonderful. Your parents along with the rest of the “DTO” was a great example of how Christian couples could have fun together. All of the couples who were part of the DTO had wonderful families and, we, as their children should be proud to have had them as our parents.
The pictures that I have added to this post was taken on June 23, 2017. I came home to Jamestown as a sort of retreat for myself and a time to reflect and help myself deal with the loss of my Mother. A couple of my dear friends encouraged me to do so, and, it was so helpful for me. Mom passed away on January 28, 2017. I had a nudge from God telling me that I needed to visit with your Mother. I contacted her and found out that she was going to be playing the piano for a short concert of Americana music. She wondered if I would join her for that concert. Of course I would. It was so much fun. I sat where she could see me. She would look over at me and grin from ear to ear. It was truly a special time. We then spent 2 more hours reminiscing and me reminding her of how she knew me. I am so glad I went to go visit her. What a wonderful memory I have of that day. May God bless you Nan, Jan and Ree during this time of sorrow, but, how wonderful it is to know that we will be reunited with our parents and other loved ones when God calls us home. God bless all of you and your families.

It is with great sadness that I send my deep condolences to JoAnn's family. JoAnn was a sweet and caring person. I always enjoyed seeing and talking to her. She seemed to always put a smile on my face. She will be missed. Sincerely Jim Marsh, Heritage Maintenance.

I have enjoyed many years of happiness with JoAnn being my cousin as well as my friend. Bob and I have been friends through First Covenant Church with both Russell and JoAnn. She will be sadly missed by all her friends from First Covenant Church and many others from our community. She was loved by all who knew her. With deepest sympathy, Bob and Marcia Brown

To JoAnn's Family
What a pleasure to get to know JoAnn when she and Russell moved to Gerry. Both gave so much to the Jamestown community, they were treasures.
We bid farewell to JoAnn’s body but not her spirit.
We bid farewell to JoAnn’s mind but not her dreams.
We bid farewell to JoAnn’s voice but not her message.
We bid farewell to JoAnn’s heart but not her love. NEVER her love.
"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." Leo Buscaglia
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Romans 14:8

The family of Lee 'Barney' Kellogg (1932-1995) and Joyce, extend to each of you our most-sincere sympathy in the passing of your loved one. Bob and Barney grew up together. I met Bob only one time, when he was applying for employment at Century Store on Washington Street at that time, early 1970s.. He made himself known to me at that time. Barney spoke of him often. Stay strong; I know you will.
