I would like to extend my condolences to Alice's family. Alice was such a lovely lady. I knew her many years ago as I grew up as a neighbor to her sister, Anne Nelson and her family. Whenever Anne visited I would see her as they would get together with Geneva Carlson and sometimes my mother would be there as well. I knew Ormie as he was a classmate, and actually we shared the same birthday. I met Alice again in later years when we got reacquainted when my in-laws, Joe and Mary Scorse, were her neighbors at the lake. I remember one day when Alice was trying to reach my husband, John, who watched over the property there in the wintertime, and I saw the name Ormond Crossley come up on my ID on the phone. I did a double take. I never realized that she was who she was and Ormie's mom. I am holding you all in my thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead. May the good Lord bring you comfort and peace. You have many wonderful memories of her that will help you along the way. She was a blessing to all who knew her.
