Linda, David and Kay, We were so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Bob was a very special man.. Your father and mother were very good friends with my parents for decades; my parents visiting with them several times over the years in FL. Bob and I also were friends and I always enjoyed talking with him about their friendship with my parents and Viking 'stuff'.. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob's entire family at this time of his passing. Tim & Janet Fagerstrom

I was so sorry to see Mr. Ellis passing. You don't know me, but I met Robert many years ago (sorry I can't recall the yr). I had a letter written in the 1800's printed in The Jamestown Post Journal written by a Johnnie Annis to his Grandparents telling what he received for Christmas that year. Robert recognized the name and contacted me. We are distant cousins. I met with him a couple of times and he gave me copies of Annis Genealogy, so kind of him !!! I had him meet my mother also. My Mom's Grandmother was Ida Annis and her Great Grandmother was Harte Annis. I enjoyed our conversations very much !!! I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends Nancy Restivo
