Rich and I graduated together. I moved away for many years, but when I returned to the area, I always enjoyed chatting with him at our class reunions. He always had something interesting to say. I hope memories will help to comfort his family.

I began my Postal Service in Jamestown on Aug. 29, 1979 and served there many years while Richard was working there. He was a hard worker and a great guy that I remember of highly. He had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed his companionship during our years of working together. I am sorry for your temporary loss but I believe that you will be reunited someday with him in the next life. He was a great postal worker in the Jamestown, NY Post Office and I honor his time that I knew him.

Richard was not just a Marines Marine, he was a Husband Husbands, and of course A Daddy of all Daddy’s, the day he became Grandpa was the greatest day of his life. We were blessed to be a distant part of Richard’s many loves, I will dearly miss you my friend until we meet again I know Heaven is now guarded by another great warrior ( or as Richard always referred to it a “Grunt”) RIp brother

My thoughts and prayers are with Richard, his sister Jayne, his family and friends.
I graduated from high school with Richard. Our backyards connected growing up, he lived on Union St. and I lived on Beckman Ave.
We would shout hello sometimes from our backyards.
Richard almost always attended our class reunions. He was a very interesting person to talk to. I am sure his family with miss him very much.

I met Rich when I was 14. He instantly was an extra big brother to me. He raised two wonderful children. I can't express my loss. 'But I know there'll be no more tears in heaven.'
