Obituary of Jane L. Kiendl

Jane L. Kiendl, 59, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at UPMC Chautauqua. Jane was born July 26, 1962 in New Castle, Pa., and was the daughter of Joanne Peterson Leavens and the late Donald W. Leavens. She attended Southwestern Central School. Jane enjoyed time with friends and her family. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her mother, Joanne Leavens; sister, Jennifer Leavens (Dennis); brother, Jeffery Leavens (Julie); daughter, Carrie Retterer (Chad); and two sons, Matthew Kiendl and Andrew Kiendl. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Faith, Gabriel, Brody and Connor Retterer, Devyn Stoll, Alyssa Kiendl, Taylor Kiendl, Maddeline Kiendl and Haylie Sutton; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Donald Leavens, she was preceded in death by her longtime companion and soulmate, Douglas C. Miller who died May 29, 2021; and a stepson, Isaac Sutton. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 3rd at 7 p.m., led by Pastor Jennifer Delahoy. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service, from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
