Obituary of Joseph C. Belka

Joseph C. Belka, 78, of 888 Hunt Road, Lakewood, died Tuesday October 26, 2021, in UPMC Chautauqua. He was born July 21, 1943, in Dunkirk, the son of Steve and Ann Belka. He was employed by The Resource Center in the sheltered workshop and earlier had been a carnival worker. He loved animals and his favorite foods were cheeseburger and sausage. Joe was a character who would say it like it is. He was loved by all his caregivers. Surviving is his sister Agnes Miller of Sacramento, CA. He was preceded in death by his girlfriend Cathy. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home, where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
