Obituary of Dennis R. Davidson

Dennis R. Davidson, 59, of 40 Colfax Street, died Thursday, November 18, 2021, in UPMC Hamot. An area resident all his life, he was born August 11, 1962, in Jamestown, a son of Vernon and Bonnie Schutt Davidson. A 1980 graduate of Maple Grove High School, he was currently co-owner of Schutt's Saw and Mower Service. He was a member of Fluvanna Community Church and Chautauqua Snowmobile Club. Surviving besides his parents of Bemus Point is his wife Julie Curtis Davidson, whom he married December 6, 1986; two daughters Erin (Matthew) Johnson of East Bethel, MN and Kelly Davidson of Estherville, IA; three grandchildren Jason, Jack and Luci Johnson and siblings Kevin Davidson of Rochester, NY, and Denise (Brad) Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Wednesday in Fluvanna Community Church. Friends will be received from 3-6 pm Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Due to COVID-necessitated policies, masks are required, regardless of immunization status.
