The challenge of selecting a memory for Mom, is that she was the keeper of them all. If I ever need to recall a moment, she remembered the all details. From the birth weight and head circumference of my kids, to the genealogy of other peoples families. But as the family historian, she always had photos to commemorate the event. As I looked for photos to share of her, I was reminded of how many photos she took (of everything) and how she would often carry around photo albums to show friends and family. Later she would just carry around the camera to show them and snap a few more. But as the photographer, how few included her in them. She cherished those memories and took every chance to share that with others. That was her way of showing her love for you. In return, I pray that your memories of her will be cherished just as much.

We have known the Filegar's for about 30 years. Sharon was a big part of our Free Methodist Church life while we attended the Jamestown Church. She was one of the first to greet us when we entered the church doors. She was up front with her opinions and freely gave compliments. She was always up for a conversation. Enjoyed her FB messages in the middle of the night as did others. She dearly loved her boys and grandchildren and shared all kinds of tidbits about their lives. She will be missed.
