Obituary of John C. Johnson

John C. Johnson, 75, of 61 Duquesne Street, Celoron, died Wednesday December 15, 2021, in his home. He was born August 17, 1946, in Jamestown, the son of the late Theodore and Viola Anderson Johnson. He was a 1965 graduate of Jamestown High School and served in the US Army from 1966-68. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant as an assembler. He enjoyed restoring cars and was a member of Der Kobblers. Surviving is his wife Annette Sheldon Johnson, whom he married November 30, 1968; three children Sherri (Ron) Anderson-Platt of Celoron, John (Amy) Johnson, Jr. of Falconer and David (Malica) Johnson of Jamestown; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Leland Anderson and a sister Judy Duffield. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
