I’ve known the Blakeslee family for most of my years. Vermont and Sally were like an older brother and sister, and the “guys” were my little brothers and sisters. They all were spiritual mentors to me. Though time and distance have sent us our separate ways, I will always love each one. I am especially grateful to Vermont and Sally for encouraging me and giving me my first opportunity to teach God’s Word. Little did they know that teaching the Bible would become a lifelong desire and activity for me. As to Vermont, I was greatly touched by his coming to my dad’s internment service in 2010. It meant much to me for him to represent his family. But that was Vermont, a thoughtful and caring Godly man. Mont, I’ll see you again someday.
