Obituary of Annette D. Johnson

Annette D. Johnson, 71, of Celoron, died Sunday January 2, 2022, in UPMC Chautauqua. An area resident all her life, she was born May 4, 1950, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Allyn and Eleanor Luce Sheldon. She will be remembered for her love of her grandchildren and caring for her family. Surviving are three children Sherri (Ron) Anderson Platt of Celoron, John (Amy) Johnson, Jr., of Falconer and David (Malica) Johnson of Jamestown; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a sister Sue (Jeff) Mathews of Frewsburg. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John C. Johnson, Sr, whom she married November 30, 1968, and who died December 15, 2021; a grandson Leland Anderson; a brother Don Sheldon and nephew Tom Sheldon. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
