We had been Kermit’s neighbors for the last 13 years (until he moved). He was always very friendly and when we would be outside at the same time would love to start a conversation. He was a kind, friendly neighbor towards us and our girls. Praying for the family during this difficult time.

Kermit inspired me with his insight, humor and faith. He shared how he enjoyed caring for older folks in his family and community. A week before his death and he was ailing, he nevertheless brightened up as he shared a morning prayer he had learned earlier in his life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you his family and all others touched by his life.

Sad to see another childhood friend is gone. The last time that I saw Kermit was at the funeral of another friend. His health had been precarious for some time, but I always thought that I'd see him again. I don't have a lot of pictures of him, but here's a very happy Kermit at age 24. Goodbye old friend.

Christine and Family,
Our hearts and healing hugs are with you today. Lean on God for strength and comfort.
"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." Leo Buscaglia
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Romans 14:8

I have know Sam and Chris for at least 40 years. I have had numerous conversations with Kermit at get togethers at their house for certain occasions. When I was working part time at Tanglewood Manor, Kermit would be coming in with ice cream for his Aunt Goldie and we would chit chat, sometimes I was sitting with Aunt Goldie and she would have a huge smile when Kermit entered the room. He always had rosy cheeks and a smile on his face. Always polite and kind.
Sam and I send heartfelt condolences to all the family.
Rest In Peace Kermit, you will be missed and the memories cherished.
Love to all the family,
Nancy and Sam Restivo
