I am so very sorry for your loss. I always smiled when I saw Clyde at St Luke's or around town. He was a joy to interact with. May memories of him always be a blessing.

We want to extend our sympathy to all of you, Janet, Ryan, Jared, and families. We are sorry to read about Clyde's passing. He was definitely a force to be reckoned with. We have wonderful memories of him from hockey and softball. Glenn especially remembers marathon softball tournaments. And we would never have had all our wonderful hockey experiences without him. We are proud to have known him. He and all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Clyde was more then just my classmate from JHS class of 63. We grew up together, played baseball and basketball and other sports together. He loved Coming over to my house for dinner when my mom made her special spaghetti sauce. We played games together. Hung out at Roger School, we were Explorer Scouts. Joe and Clyde went into the Army together, I was supposed to be in there with them, but life had different plans for me I was in 2 years later and went to Nam , but that’s another story. Clyde could run faster then the wind, I couldn’t keep up with him! He was my best friend and I miss him. My deepest sympathy to the Card family, prayers for all of you. He his wife Janet and family. God bless all of you!

It is with sadness that I note the passing of Clyde. He labored tirelessly to place and keep CCYHA on the hockey map and did so with patience and good humor. We worked together with Clyde’s passion for providing legal services for the poor where he enjoyed difficult-to-obtain success.
My condolences to Janet and his boys.

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Card. He was a giant in the community and had a huge impact on my early years with his involvment with the CCYHA. Without his time and effort, that organization would not be where it is today, nor would many kids(now adutls) love for the game of hockey.

Deepest sympathy to the Card family. Clyde was instrumental in helping my son receive SSD when I had exhausted all application refusals. He was so kind and helpful and I am forever grateful.

I knew Clyde from the Jamestown Slow Pitch softball leagues in the late 70s early 80s.We were on opposing
teams, and he was a good pitcher and a friendly competitor. I remember him as congratulatory when
deserved, and using wit to appropriately tease when it was warranted. I never knew he was an accomplished
attorney and the difference he made in Jamestown. My condolences to his family.
