Joyce Kellogg posted a condolence

The family of Lee 'Barney' Kellogg (1932-1995) and Joyce, extend to each of you our most-sincere sympathy in the passing of your loved one.
I grew up in Celoron, with both Russ and Barbara; Brad being a few years younger, and busy with his National Roller-skating career, in his youth and teen years.
In the the past several years, though, we in our area, have been audience to his near daily appearances at the Rod & Gun and Lakewood Legion, where he was always welcome and his spontaneous 'giggle and laugh' were familiar to each of us.. Brad and family's D-J's was a fixture in our area and many others for many years
Brad will be missed by each of us; and, we wish him safe journey to the other side, where he shall go on entertaining those of our loved ones who will welcome him, I'm sure.
Be strong; I know you will.

When we heard of Brad's passing, I had an overwhelming feeling that the world just became a lot less fun. Brad had a gift of knowing how to make people laugh, dance, and for just a little while, help them feel young and carefree again. We will all miss him. My sincere condolences to the family.

I want to send my thoughts and prayers to Brad's family. I knew Brad all my life. We were classmates all through school and neighbors just a couple blocks away. I have many fond memories of both Brad and Pat at the Celoron Skating Rink and then the hours spent at the restaurant across the street after Adult Night Skating. We had loads of laughs because Brad could always make us laugh till we cried. He always had something funny to say. Brad will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

I enjoyed many a laugh with Brad at the Anytime Fitness gym over the past few years. I stopped going two years ago because of pandemic restrictions and personal health issues, but often thought of him and his buddies. We always had time to share a joke or funny comment on the world. I will miss seeing him there.

I feel so priviledged to have been your friend. You wore your heart on your sleeve for Pat and I was always impressed. Not a lot of men like you anymore. I know how much you missed her and I'm so happy you're with her again. Unfortunately that means you're not with all of us that loved you. You lived a great life and I believe you're on to a new adventure. God bless you Brad!

I want to offer my condolences to Brad's family. I knew Brad from way back in the late '50's when I took skating lessons from his Dad, Ockie, at Skateland in Celoron. I was so proud when Brad won the Nationals. Afterwards, he appeared on a poster with my then sister-in-law Sherry (who had polio), that was distributed all through the area encouraging children to have their polio vaccinations. I met Pat through a mutual friend while she and Brad were dating and would see them different places from time to time. They were a neat couple and always had a lot of fun together. I know that losing Pat was a rough time for Brad, as they were together for most of their lives. They are together again now, and I pray for the good Lord to give all of you His strength, comfort and healing as the days, weeks and months pass.

Brad was a Southwestern classmate of mine from 8th grade -11th grade. Brad and Ron Ducat were in charge of all our class reunions. We all will miss Brad for his adorable smiles and character. We all miss Pat Widrig, as well. They were a great pair and an asset to our class. May God be with you all during the days and months ahead. With deepest sympathy, Marcia and Bob Brown

Brad was a great guy and friend. I went all through school with Brad, from Celeron grade school to the class of ‘63 at Southwestern. Brad was instrumental in keeping our class together for all the class reunions. Wife Pat was also part of my school memories. Thinking of his family during this stressful time. Eileen Groves Lewis

Bradweiser. We hit it off from the start. I’m so bad at remembering jokes, but you told me so many and made life more fun. I loved your stories, talking about skating, “promote, promote, promote!” You were always thinking, had ideas, looking forward to your next gig. I wish I’d known you longer, wish I’d known Patty, but I’ll always be grateful that I was privileged enough to be your “girlfriend” and enjoy your company. Love you, Brad. ❤️
