Obituary of Jacob Rishel-Harrison
Jacob Rishel-Harrison, 19, of Jamestown, NY, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, as a result of complications from a house fire in Jamestown.
A lifelong area resident, he was born November 24, 2002, in Jamestown, NY, a son of Lindsey I. Harrison and Tonya J. Rishel.
Jacob loved the outdoors, especially when he was hunting with his uncles Derek and Ed. He enjoyed working on bicycles and spending time bowling. He was also an die-hard fan of the Buffalo Bills.
Surviving is his mother, Tonya J. Rishel, his father, Lindsey I. Harrison, a sister, Sierra Rishel, all of Celoron, NY, his maternal grandparents, Denise (Ted Langworthy) Smith of Jamestown, Robert Sargent of Celoron, his aunts, Cassie (Larry) Ballard of Salamanca, NY, Melissa (John) Polley of Dewittville, NY, his uncles, Douglas (Jami) Rishel of Celoron, Charlie (Tara) Rishel of Jamestown, and his companion, Monica and her son Axyl of Jamestown. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard Harrison and Amy Redeye, his uncles, Adam Rishel, Jimmy Buffalo, and his beloved dog "Stewie".
The funeral will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 4-7 pm Tuesday in the funeral home where masks must be worn.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Jamestown Fire Department Morton Club, 118 Pratt Ave. Jamestown, NY 14701, to support the firemen who risk their lives to save others.
