Obituary of Timothy S. Emke

Timothy S. Emke, 55, of 383 Buffalo Street, died Tuesday February 22, 2022, in Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 26, 1966, in Jamestown, a son of the late Herbert and Fay Collard Emke. A 1984 graduate of Randolph Central School, he later earned an associate degree. For over 30 years he was employed by Jamestown Container as a shift supervisor. He was an avid sports fan, he rooted for the Bills, Sabres and Mets. He enjoyed reading, especially Stephen King novels and playing video games. More than anything Tim was a family man and enjoyed spending time with them. His family and friends looked forward to his uplifting "positivity posts" to keep their spirits as bright as his. His love for his family and friends will shine forever. Surviving is his wife Loretta Harper Emke; five children Aaron Raynor of Sinclairville, Joe (Alena) Green of Mayville, Samantha Harper of Jamestown, Sandi Emke of Kennedy, and Seth Emke of Jamestown; eight grandchildren Tristan, Sean, Malaki, Jade, Peyton, Noah, Gracelynn, and Olivia and five siblings Gail (Dave) White of Bradford, Keith Emke of Jamestown, Dan Emke of Randolph, Mark (Linda) Emke of Cassadaga and Dale (Renae) Emke of Jamestown. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Peggy Kelly. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4-6 pm Friday and from 10 am-noon Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at the Falconer Legion at 2pm on Saturday.
