Obituary of Jon C. McMillen

Jon C. McMillen, 63, of Greenhurst, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 in UPMC Chautauqua. He was born August 31, 1958, in Jamestown, a son of the late Nelson G. and Patricia A. Brooks McMillen. Jon was a 1976 graduate of Jamestown High School. Before retirement, he was employed at MRC Bearings for 23 years and in earlier years he worked at Quality Markets for 10 years, Jon will be remembered as a man of integrity and as a loving husband. His 32 years of sobriety was from the grace of God and Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a member of the local UAW union and he enjoyed reading. Jon is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Linda L. Coe McMillen, a step-daughter Amber Ricotta-Pavlock, and two step-grandchildren Gavin and Finley Pavlock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Gregory McMillen. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Allen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701.
