Obituary of Randy F. Burkholder

Randy F. Burkholder, 70, of Lakewood, formerly of Clymer, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at his home. An area resident all of his life, he was born Aug. 25, 1951 in Jamestown, a son of the late Rudy and Doddy Burkholder. Randy was a 1969 graduate of Clymer Central School and a 1971 graduate of Alfred State University. Randy was owner and operator of a dairy farm in Clymer for many years and had worked at Cummins Engine Co. from 2003 until his retirement. He was a history buff and enjoyed reading and playing with his grandsons. Randy is survived by his wife Nancy C. Burkholder; a son Jacob (Jill) Burkholder; a daughter Taylor Burkholder; three grandchildren: Damien, Dominick, and Ty Burkholder; and a sister Virginia (Larry) Ruderman. In keeping with Randy's wishes no service or visitation will be observed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 West Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750 in Randy's name.
