Obituary of Pauline D. Hartzell

Pauline D. Hartzell, 92, of 133 Midgley St. Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 surrounded by family and beloved animals. She was born Dec. 5, 1929 in Leechburg, PA, the daughter of the late Elmer C. and Mabel A. Lydic Hamilton. Pauline was a telephone operator until her marriage to Robert E. Hartzell, of Numine, PA in 1960. She enjoyed being a member of Jehovah's Witnesses, hiding Easter eggs for the family, going down to Camp with family in Sigel, PA, long talks with her sister-in-Law Darlene Fretters, and playing cards with best friend's Joan & Horace Battaglia. Pauline is survived by her eldest son Robert J. and daughter-in-law Janine A. Arcadipane Hartzell of Russell, PA, youngest son James M. Hartzell of Jamestown, sister-in law Darlene Fetters of Bellefonte, PA, and nieces and nephews in Leechburg, PA area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert E. Hartzell on Nov. 23, 2020 and four brothers: Eugene, Clell, Raymond, and Gerald Hamilton. There will be no service or visitation observed. Burial will be in Pleasant Hills Cemetery.
