My family and I spent a few years living across the street from Carol and family when I was young. She was always so kind and full of joy. Wonderful memories of our time living there with the Winterburn's as neighbors! Many condolences to Bob and the family.

This can not be an easy time for you. Carol lit up the room with her smile and laughter. Always a greeter wherever I saw her in the community or at Allen Park Women's Club meetings. The world will be a bit dimmer now that she has passed away.
Take good care and hold fast to your memories and friends.

Dear Bob,
Rose and I felt so very bad when we read Katie’s notification on Facebook. We always loved spending many Easter’s with you and Carol. She was definitely the “energizer bunny” and most times it was hard to keep up with her. Her energy and smiling face was infectious and Carol will be sorely missed by many. Time to celebrate her life and how fortunate you were to be married to this lovely women. Blessings to you and family. Our sincere condolences.

Dear Bob it has been one week since Carol left us. We will miss her. I tell Rudy our dog that Carol will not be coming to give her usual treats and affection. He looks at me as if he understands. Carol was such an inspiration to us. We liked to see you and Carol walk to Tim Hortons every day and even thought we might join you sometime. Carol was a lovely person and we will really miss her. Take care of yourself Bob

I was friends with Amy in high school many years ago. Although our friendship was brief, as I moved away after graduation, I never forgot Amy, nor her Mom.
We had so many nights playing downstairs and listening to the SuperBowl Shuffle by the Chicago Bears.
"Mom" would always yell down the stairs that it was time to be quiet and go to sleep. Amy would always yell back but Mom!
As I was so sad when Amy, passed, I am happy that her Mom can be with her again.
To her family still here on earth, I hope your memories will fill your heart during this sad time and going forward.
Signed:
A long time ago friend of Amy.

Carol was like another mother to me. We worked closely together at Anderson's Produce for about 8 years, from the time I was 14 until 22. Carol was the sweetest and most caring person. She not only helped teach me all I know about summer and winter squash, but she guided me through my teen years as I worked summers with her. I considered Carol a part of my family. She will be greatly missed but heaven has gained a very sweet angel. Visiting Anderson's will not be the same without her.

To a dear friend of ours we will miss Carol especially her bubbly personality. Our memories go way back. Parties, Thursday night chicken wings, trip to Niagara on the Lake Bills playoffs games at our house in the 90’s. Rest in peace. God has gained another angel.

Bob and Family - I can’t express how devastating this news hit me. I loved Carol as a dear friend. I’ll cherish all the time we spent working for the APWC. Nobody worked harder or loved the park more than Carol. I moved away 5 years ago but she never missed contacting me on every holiday! I’m so sorry for your loss! Love, Candy

Carol was amazing! Her generosity and commitment to serve always warmed my heart. I fondly remember Open House in your home following Christmas Eve Midnight Service. We were always treated like family! I worked with Carol for many years and treasure that time. As you move through these days, know many are holding you close. May your hearts be filled with love and memories, Thinking of you all.

My Dearest Carol,
I am simply heartbroken. I will never forget the first time we met. I was running through the neighborhood looking for our dog Dottie. Little did I know at the time, that I would be meeting a my Dear Friend at the same time. You were always someone who thought about everyone else and their well being. You were always the first person there to lend a helping hand. I will always cherish the time we spent together in the Allen Park Women's Club, You will certainly be leaving a hole in all of our hearts. I am very thankful for the friendship that we had and all of the wisdom that you imparted on me. Although your work here may be done, you are now with your Amie. I want you to know that I will never forget you. Thank you for being such a special part of my life. I Love You Dear Friend.
